We got a whopping 12 inches between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Delayed start for school, other than that, business as usual.
Dh was watching the news last night, and he said there's been 40+ inches of snow this season in our area. Up last year from like 19.

You can have it. We've maybe got a total of 9 or 10 inches so far, this winter. Most of our snowfalls amount to about 1 inch. The systems normally go south and north of us, and leave us alone. This is just fine with me.

We got about six inches and they closed the schools on Tuesday (following MLK Day on Monday). I was surprised by that... Just good 'ol fashioned winter. A little more headed here today.

We ended up with around 8 or 9 inches. I can't wait for the weekend to strap on the snowshoes!

We got maybe an inch here in my part of Indiana, there has only been one big snow, and I'd like to keep it that way.
It was a little overcast the last two days.
We have some coming to us soon, if that means anything?
We have a very scarce amount of snow on the ground for the time being.

It was a little overcast the last two days.
We've had a a high of -5 the last two days.
I am boarding a plane with number one son tomorrow for Columbus, OH and then a 2 hour ride up to Ada for an interview with the Dean of engineering at Ohio Northern University. I actually had to find the inner fleece for my Parka and a pair of gloves.

Yeah, it's gonna be a bit brisk... :D I flew into Sanford (the other Orlando airport) a couple of weeks ago, just on the end of the cold snap that made national news. When we landed it mid-afternoon I think it was in the 50's and all the people working outside at the airport were dressed in coveralls, warm hats and gloves. For a minute I thought I got on the wrong plane and wound up in Canada!
So - if Floridians handle 50's that way, I think you're in for a lot of inside time this weekend. :)
Just got back from doing a preliminary recon of the Ohio Norther campus, not a bad place at all. I could do without the 20 degree weather. I feel like a whiner after hearing about the -5 that Adina is dealing with. It was kind of weird wearing both the inner liner and outside shell of my good old goretx cabela's special. It's been about three years since I've had to do that. I'll try and shoot a few desolate farm landscapes tomorrow if I get the time.

Nope, lots of rain though.
Supposed to have had snow this weekend but all we got was cold rain and I had photo plans for it too.
