It is much easier for members, and they dont have to keep switching between browser windows in order to reply while still looking at the images. Frog 01-03-2008, 07:59 PM If it were I, I'd post the pier at st. Ives. gahspidy 01-03-2008, 08:29 PM motive, we would be happy to see your work and give you feedback and critique, but posting a specific photo on the thread , as Brent said would be the way to go about it. drg 01-03-2008, 11:22 PM I'd suggest you link the 'Manchest Airport' image to this forum for critique. The empty people movers with the blue make for a photograph that is very serene and at the same time clinical. My technical comments include that image needs a minor increase of contrast/High Pass definition or other 'sharpening'. USM would be too much as it doesn't need halos, just Clarity (If you an Adobe product such as Lightroom). The foreground might be reduced or cropped slightly to alter the proportion or to allow the wall beneath the windows on the left to emerge from the corner of the image frame. It would balance the center piece on the ceiling. Overall I like the effect you have captured with the use of perspective and depth accented with the blue tone and the various light accents. motlive 01-04-2008, 01:22 AM Thanks everyone :) I didnt want to bombard people with photos, however here are a small selection: Low Tide Pier at St Ives http://valind.co.uk/Photos/pier.jpg Manchester Airport http://valind.co.uk/Photos/manchester.jpg To DRG: I will look at making the adjustments, I have Photoshop. Crane: http://valind.co.uk/Photos/crane.jpg Temple Church: (Not sure why but this is one of my favourites, think because it looks like a crown, but also due to the stepping of the light on each part of the building) http://valind.co.uk/Photos/templechurch.jpg St Pauls http://valind.co.uk/Photos/stpauls.jpg |
