Taken in Princeton, N.J. at Bunker Hill after the sun had set. What do you think?

Is that snow? I hope it is from last year......

I like the composition and the reflections in the water. The sky color looks good but I'm just not sure about the color of the snow-it looks too dark and too purple. Did you use a split ND filter?

nah the snows color is from the longer exposure at twilight and the wrong WB setting. this was from the archieves along time ago so I can't really go back and try to rework the shot. Thanks for the comments though!

This is exactly the type of color I like: violets with oranges to warm them up. Very wintery feel! I am not sure the composition is ideal here but I think you probably had to act fast to capture the light before it left for the day.. And, the pond is a good foreground item. That slanting tree seems to block the view, but it does add an interesting twist.
