Do you have one picture that is your all time favorite of everything you have taken?

Post it and tell us why its your favorite :)

I'll start :) I took this dragonfly with my sony dsc-h1 about a year and a half ago. I feel like this photo is what really sent me in the direction of becoming more serious about my photography. Photography can make me happy no matter how down I am. This photo also brought me to this forum. I believe it was the first one I posted and I just love being on the forum and am so thankful for all the help I have recieved here and that I am able to learn so much here!

Good shot, Amber!
The following is my favorite, not because its a great photo but because of the subject matter. My two ladies...

I'd have to say this is the one. I love it because you see something in the pic the human eye never would. I love the pic even more because of the lovely child blowing off the cannon. He was so in his element. What I don't like in this pic is the crooked background.

This is the first photo where I finally realized what photographing the light was all about. I have tried many times to find light like this since. I keep coming back to this one, and I keep coming back to this spot, I have never had these conditions again though.

This would probably be my favorite. It is about the only shot I've been able to pull off that I feel conveyed what I was feeling at the time I took it.

Great idea for a thread! This one isn't an all time favorite, but it was an early shot from when I got seriously interested in photography. This was taken through a window at a hotel room in Charlotte NC one morning several years ago. I didn't expect the colors to be so vivid which was a nice surprise, but I feel like I got what I wanted so I felt like it was a success.

This is a shot I took back in 2004. This was the first photo that I made that I felt was worthy of enlarging.

Mine has to be this one. The original is in my gallery on page 33(9 images per page), but this one I cropped and tweaked a bit. I like how it turned out.

There are some very cool images in this post. I like them all.

I always liked this one..for the spontaneity and outcome...he jumped up after one shot and ran after a fishing pole. I assumed he was old and weathered soaking up some suds..but the way he jumped up..he was just weathered.:)

This is my favorite place in the, Portland Maine. This is the Portland Head Light, one of Maine's best light houses. It is part of Fort Williams State Park. A location full of history.

I remember this image. You've also posted a lot of great images since joining.

Here is one from me that I posted before. Not technically the best (still haven't nailed the post processing down on this one), but special to me nonetheless.

It is difficult enough to capture small swifts and swallows in flight. Even harder to get a frog in mid-jump after its prey (because they are nearly impossible to predict the jump). And I've only witnessed a bull frog going after a barn swallow once - this one.

I remember this shot - great use of a fisheye which is a hard thing to do!

Amazing shot, Loupey!

heres my favorite... probbably because its a good picture, but also because i started hiking there in a thunderstorm ( on the slickrock with a tripod) and after i got to the arch, the rain bow was gone within 5 mins... and noone else was around- i waited to catch my breath after running the last bit until after the rainbow disapeared

lol.. thats what I meant :D This is an awesome one too! I just figure you're like me, cannot pick just one picture of the kids so we'll exclude those lol.

Dylan thats really cool! :) I dont see many rainbows here in Va. Used to see them on a daily basis in Hawaii. I miss that.
