This is a 5-axis milling machine with a 3metre bed, used by an F1 team.
The concrete foundation it sits on to dampen vibration is huge.
Linear motors in the X axis if my memory is right, maybe linear motor gantry too.
High tech, very accurate, I think over $1000000 today for the machine let alone the building it's in and the installation.
