Here is one of my first shots with my Bessa R. I really like the camera. It is a very basic no bells and whistles camera. I have been working some overtime lately and haven't got to shoot with it as much as I would like, but so far so good.

now if it would just carry the banner headlines:
Nebraska Herald
"Crops Under Siege." (more on page 110)
love it mate......
problem seems to be for me at least a slight very light blue colouring in the sky ~ not quite grey, not quite blue...
would that be the camera and it's age or the developing or whatever ???
looking at aaron's stuff and yours it seems to me that everything close up (-ish) seems so sharp etc. but that as the shot goes into the background, the contrast/sharpness or stuff isn't quite as good....
is that something that is endemic with the genre of will things change as you get along ??
i loved the bridge but it seemed as though the background didn't have the same quality.

This is pretty much out of camera. I cropped a house out on the left and resized it, but that's it. I am also not sure about the sky, maybe my monitor but I don't see a tint? I could correct it with channel mixer. Maybe another set of eyes could see it as well?

This looks great, Greg! The developing looks good and I really like this composition. Looks like Texas!
I don't see the color in the sky, but you can always just desaturate to make sure there isn't some color from the scan.
I'm glad you're getting along with your Bessa. I love mine more every time I use it.
