I thought the title sounded better than Frost?
Some of these are a bit cliché with the water drop and all. But It completes a chronological progression which lasted a few minutes.
Finally getting around to using the 180mm macro - or should I say forcing myself to use it. It means I have to use the tripod. Again.
Thanks for looking.

I continue to be amazed by the shots you take.
The water droplets are stunning. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you 'shopped them in.
This has inspired me to get out and take more macro's.
Thanks.

Cool, really like 3. Light on the drop is sweet.

I think the frost shards on the leaves of images 1 & 2 are amazing, and the colours are gorgeous. The water droplets are stunning, so much so you have inspired me to go out and try to capture some before all the leaves have fallen off the trees.

Well worth the effort of getting your tripod out Loupey :)

Thanks, all, for such lovely comments!
For me, showing something very common and getting any reaction is typically my objective (to bring an appreciation for the common). But to hear that I have inspired anyone to try a shoot is a compliment to any photographer - thanks again.
slayer - yes, 1&2 are extreme backlights - in #2 you can see from the shadow of the stem cast on the leaves that the sun is directly in front of me.
Here is a tight crop of one of the droplets. The 180mm produced a gorgeous starburst flare in some of the shots.

Super duper shots. This is something I wouldn't even think of shooting. However, I'm glad you did. I really like the detail of the frost on the first 2, but I think my fav is #3. The frost must just be starting to thaw, hence the drop. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love the first shot, great colour and detail. The droplet with the starburst is super too.
Amazing stuff.
