I am new to this and wondered if you can help?

I bought a minolta dimage z1 a few months ago and in the past week all the images have a kind of soft, blurred spot on them. Always in the same place?

Any thoughts?

If it's only been happening in the past week, I'd suspect a dirty lens.
Can you see anything on the front of the lens?
A finger mark maybe?
Or a spot left there from rain?

Funny story, I wore a yellow T-shirt to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and was THE favourite person for all the bugs :) A lot of photos were lost to small beetles crawling over the lens and the resulting dark splodge in the image :(

That was so obvious that it was painful......................how dozey am I!! :D
