Hello All!
How is everyone? I took a trip to the SF Conservatory of Flowers on Wednesday, thought I would share a few of my favorite pics.
I don't care for the shots of the actual Conservatory (something about the multi colored stained glass inserts gets my skin crawling) so I modified one of my favorite shots into
I-don't-know-what, but I like it. It's interesting, to say the least.
The rest are of only a few of the wonderments in this great (and hot, humid) place.

Anyway, hope you enjoy. Comments are welcomed. :)

Thanks all!

both sets make for nice series of shots especially the coral colored hibiscus... I like that they aren't quite abstract but you have to look a second time...

Untitled (the hanging lamps, they have a flower like look to them) and your Warm Glow. Those are great. I still love your Kaleidescope. :)

I had a great time at the Conservatory, however they do not allow tripods so I had to do this off the cuff, literally. I think I would have been able to get better pics if I had more gear with me that day.
Oh well, another trip and a slip of a 20 to security I suppose? (that or a press pass?) haha.

Best-

I liked both of your posts. Familiar subjects with a different style. I liked your first shot with the cool toning and clean composition but they all are great. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! Like I mentioned above, I wasnt thrilled with the way my regular shots came out of the actual Conservatory. Just bad positioning and lack of equipnment. Plus, the white of the Conservatory was really clashing with the sky, it was overcast, but extremely bright. So the toning, strange and unconservative (no pun intended), really looks neat, IMO.

Thanks again :) :)
