does anyone know what kind of license is issued with Sony Vegas software? if it is a home and work deal like Adobe is then I may be able to convince work to by me a copy:D

When I installed the home version of platinum, I had to send in for registration that sent along my mac address, then then sent an email that had a file that only ran on that machine. I don't think its a home and office copy.

thats a shame. we are looking at ways to make the slideshows and dvd's i do at work look fresh, but i don't really have the time to go to go to the stores and see it in action and i don't like cluttering my machine with trial versions of software. if it was dual install someone at work was going to buy it for home and we would have split the costs with work. still 90% of the video stuff i do is making still pictures into movies and it becomes a matter of time. premier pro is more than enough but sometimes the templates on other applications will save me a lot of time.
