View Full Version : Jefferson's Vines - Second Pass KenB 07-26-2007, 09:59 AM Ok, a shot with a subject.... http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1298/906710207_eca0a827e5_b.jpg Greg McCary 07-26-2007, 10:04 AM I like it better than the first. The sign adds an extra element it needed. Greg petefontaine15 07-26-2007, 10:50 AM i love the colors! did you saturate them more with photoshop or something? or is that just the shot with a polarizer lens? nice shot man. KenB 07-26-2007, 03:46 PM i love the colors! did you saturate them more with photoshop or something? or is that just the shot with a polarizer lens? nice shot man. Thanks. There's a layer mask on which I did a gradient fill, white to black - left to right, to darken the right side a bit. There's also a little bit of unsharp but, other than that, it's as shot. There should be grapes on the vines by now and I can recompose this better now that I'm looking at the finished product. gahspidy 07-26-2007, 08:23 PM This is a stronger shot than the first. I like the use of the sign as a subject. I think the dof could have been a little more. A bit more space to the left of the sign. Also, something about the area just to the right edge of the tree looks weird, as if it were blurred or selected and edited. Colors are very appealing. |
