I don't post here very often and I'm not sure this is regarded as Sport's Photography.
Hubby and I took the kids Ten Pin Bowling today. And, me being me, I refused to use my flash lol
I got some great expressions and motion blurs though :p

Here's what I got with my 17-40 f/4 L lens.

#1 ISO 400, f/4.0, SS 1/40
#2 ISO 400, f/4.0, SS 1/50
#3 ISO 400, f/4.0, SS 1/50 (I LOVE this shot! The joy Danielle show's as she get's a strike and the disbelief on Lisa's face lol. Absolutely priceless!)

We just call it bowling over here! Use to have other types but it is all pretty much standard 10 pins. There were duck pins a number of places until recently in large urban areas.

The photos are great. You don't need a flash under these circumstances. The two reacting to the strike is priceless!

Wonderful Alison!! Nice to have you here on the dark side. Most of the sports photogs here battle bad lighting in nearly every venue they are in. You did an exceptional job with the challenge. I really love that first one. The girls are always so expressive and the blur add a lot to the capture. Nice going.

Lovely, the shots of the girls don't need much commentary.
All it needs it a shot of the strike (or A strike, just cheat) and you'd have a lovely series of 3 for the wall.
