Rob,

I need to know what I need, equipment and knowledge-wise, to be able to plug my 10D into my telescope. It has a 1.25 inch eyepiece I believe.

I know you asnwered this before for me, but I can't find that email. :(

Is the first thing you need. The 1.25 inch is the standard size, so you wont have a problem getting one. That is the piece that attaches to the telescope where the visual back (the piece that holds the eyepiece) normally goes.

The other thing you need, as Paul said, is a T-Ring, also called a T-Mount, for Canon camera's. http://www.telescope.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=57&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=6&iSubCat=29&iProductID=57

I just got one for my K1000, so now I can shoot with either it or my N80 through my Celestron. :-)

I usually get my telescope supplies through Orion Telescopes: www.telescope.com. They have an extensive selection of telescopes, eyepieces, and accessories.
