View Full Version : Caged and Embarrassed Locomotive: Let Me Out! Did you use a tripod? I just attempted stitching a photo myself - it turned out really well, if you're interested in seeing it. Mr Yuck 04-12-2007, 10:00 PM Keep those images. Get Autopano-SIFT (http://user.cs.tu-berlin.de/~nowozin/autopano-sift/) Hugin, and Emblend (emblend is usually included with Hugin) (the links are included on the linked page) Good stuff, that's the suite I use for mine. HLCYG: I'm interested in seeing that stitched shot you have, you gonna post another thread of it? Don Schaeffer 04-13-2007, 09:20 AM No tripod--i just go for long walks. Thanks Mr Yuck Greg McCary 04-13-2007, 04:26 PM This one would have been very good if the stitching had worked. I have stitched afew together hand held with very good results. I use Panomaker 4. You can download a free trial. I did it by keeping the camera in manual and meter for the brightest spot. Manual focus and overlap you image 50%. I also use the cameras focus grid as a leveling guage. Give the free trial a go and see if you like it. Greg Don Schaeffer 04-13-2007, 08:17 PM Actually I really like Canon Photostitch which I use. I did this really quickly. I dojn't bother with formalities. They are bound to look rough. |
