Which of these two shots do you like best, the angled or the straight one.
Any other input on these is appreciated.

Phil pympster 04-10-2007, 01:44 PM I think it looks better angled Greg McCary 04-10-2007, 01:47 PM Composition wise, diagonaly works better most often in my book. danno 04-10-2007, 01:50 PM It really depends on what you're going for... I think the straight one looks very industrial and straight-edged, and the angled one looks somehow softer and a really common type of shot. If you're looking at getting something different... I would go with the straight shot. SmartWombat 04-10-2007, 02:41 PM The light's different in each shot. I think the lighting on the angled shot is better, but the framing of the straight shot I prefer. Can I get down off this fence now? jkriminger 04-10-2007, 04:49 PM i like the angled one...I wonder if you could get some light rays flowing from behind slightly..somehow MJS 04-10-2007, 06:36 PM I'm kind of partial to the straight, I just like the pattern. livin4lax09 04-10-2007, 06:39 PM straight. diagonal seems kind of cliché to me for some reason. PMW518 04-10-2007, 06:53 PM Thanks all for the input so far. I think I'm starting to lean towards the straight one, but with the lighting of the angled one. Maybe as suggested one with a little light behind seeping out from between the links. I'll have to reshoot and work on those next time I get home see if I can get some thing that I like better out of it. Phil HowLowCanYaGo 04-10-2007, 07:54 PM I prefer the straight. KyRain 04-10-2007, 09:55 PM I like the angled one because it renders movement and flow but I too think I prefer the straight one because it is a strong image that makes me stop and really look at the details and I also like the darker colors. Good work. |
