View Full Version : Red River Ice Flow at the Forks Don Schaeffer 04-09-2007, 08:50 PM http://www.shuttertalk.com/forums/images/upload/IceflowsatforksaSM.jpg pympster 04-12-2007, 02:24 AM wide angle lens??the trees in center seem to be straight but everything else seems to curve away! I quite like it!! But in my opinion nothing seems to be happening in this photo! Beautifull sky though! Greg McCary 04-12-2007, 03:08 AM It looks almost like you tried to stitch a pano? I think it would work better if the horizon was straight. But I do like the composition fine other than that and I do find this an interesting subject. readingr 04-12-2007, 03:47 AM Don, I was about to ask whether this is a pano but just read Greg's reply. I would have liked a bit more on the right to attach the trees to the land. Other than that I like the fact there is no ice on one side of the join. The curve is a little too much as the earth doesn't bend that much so is it a wide angle composition for the pano's? or just a single. Roger |
