First hi to all I am new here as of today. I LOVE my E-300. Its a lot of camera and I've had it for almost a yr now and still discovering new things my camera can do. Its hard to keep up on it with 2 kids ..
I am an amatuer photog, pursueing a professional degree. Right now Im currently doing mostly nature and Portraits of my kids. I never really took the time to learn terminology, or learn more baout equipment so Im glad I found this site to help me out.

Anyway

I was interested in aquireing a macro lens. I also dont have a million dollars to buy one..so does anyone have any recs on where I could get a good cheap one. Ebay looks good but everyone jumps on them at the last second and they end up going for more then the original retail cost..Seams silly..lol.

Also ..I seen these macro attachment peices for lenses. Are they any good and would that be a better way to go for those who dont have much of a budget.

I'm starting school in June and would like to get as much equip as I can.

Your best bet is probably tubes instead of a lens, check out one of the stickys in the nature and wildlife section for info on those. I have a E500 which I would think would take the same lens. I have been looking at a 35mm macro lens for about $200.00. I am not sure you are going to get much cheaper than that for such a new camera. Check out the link below.
