I received an Optio E10 as a gift. The instructions say to turn the mode dial to video, press the shutter release to start taking video, and to press the button again to stop. When I press the button the first time nothing happens. I've formatted the SD card, loaded fresh batteries and even cleaned my glasses to make sure I had the correct settings. Still, no video. Any suggestions?

Hi buderdog...it seems by the lack of responses, that few people know the answer to your dilemma. And I'm of no help either, as I have no experience with this particular camera. My only suggestion would be to take it to a dedicated camera shop in your area and see if they can't help you. Sometimes, you run into someone at one of the big chain stores, ie WalMart, Target, Best Buy, Office Depot, etc., that actually knows what they are talking about and you might get some help there. As a last resort, you can probably call tech support, if the camera is under warranty, and they may be able to explain what you are doing wrong, or to have you ship it in so they can fix it, if it's broken.
