If you haven't heard, the Pentax 645D was shown at the Tokyo Photo Show and was a working fully functional model...September looks good to me..

When was the Tokyo photo show? I am looking forward to this camera becoming available. I think it's wonderful that Pentax is pushing forward with it. I really think they are back on the move as a leading camera manufacturer. On the other hand, I wonder how much of a market there is for a medium format digital SLR when standard digital SLRs are getting so good. I assume that, as a studio photographer, you are very interested? Maybe your move to Pentax even had something to do with the upcoming 645? :wink5:

Kim wants to get into portrait photography...maybe I'll have to look into it before I go for the 10d...hehe
