Welcome to PR, and great first post in the Nature & Wildlife forum! I love bluebirds (look at my avatar :D ) and you have a great shot of one here!!!

If I was to nitpick the image, I would say to try and get your images of birds in a more natural setting, which isn't always possible... just look at some of mine, lol. And, it isn't necessary to have your name and year so large, it kind of takes away from the image.

The above does not mean that I do not like the image, it's great! Welcome again, and I look forward to seeing more of your nature and wildlife pictures.

Hi, Cora, and welcome!

We're always delighted to have new members here and I think you will find that the more you participate, the more you will get out of this site :)

I agree with Copy on those points. Your image is good technically (focus, color, depth of field). Follow the bluebird and you will get different images

Welcome to PR! great image and I agree with the name/date being a bit too big.

To get a more natural looking image try putting a natural looking perch(branch, log on a pole....) 5 feet from the mealworm bowl.

Just crop it right at his feet -- maybe trim the nails a touch -- and the photo becomes about the bird, not the bowl. All the other elements are nice: sharp, clear, colorful, well-exposed. The worm is a nice touch.

Welcome Cora and what a great first image, the colours are lovely.
I agree with Copy about your copyright being on the large size, but we have all made that mistake, an its an inferior one compared to the quality of the image.
Look forward to seeing more.
