The MB photos in the rain forest, reminded me of the trail around Spirit Lake below Mt. St. Helens. I was not doing my job when I took some of these photos(I love auto focus).

I heard about how beuatiful she was before the eruption but never saw it even though I've lived in western Washington my whole life.

I remember it also.I was living in North Dakota.As I recall for many days after the eruption dust/ash fallout was settling out.That's close to 1000 miles away! I can only imagine how bad it was local.

All the photos are are from the blast area. I do have some after photos but all the good photos would be good photos were taking with B&W and a folding 620 roll camera most don't have real good focus.........
