After spending a few days at Crufts at the NEC in Birmingham, it was great to get back home and see the blossom out along with the sun and the birds courting and starting nest building.

These shots are of a the lady blackbird that is a regular summer visitor nesting in the garden, i caught her this morning with a piece of tape she was determined was going in the nest and then some dried grass.

It was a piece of old masking tape.

I was going to say that paper will not be too good in a nest due to water , but taping the nest together is ingenious :D

Nice images Bev, I hope I'll start to see some birds building their nest soon.

I cant wait for that time of year to arrive here but it is getting nicer out every day.:) Its nice to see that your Spring has arrived Bev. So hopefully we can expect some of your Robin Captures:) Dont forget that your the one that set the standard for your Robin Photos . They are gonna be hard to Better hehe.
