I can't deny feeling a little left out when I would look at the Nikon and Cannon forums and think why not me? I like the fact that I'm the only one around at a concert or event using a Pentax. You can't swing a bat without hitting a Nikon or Cannon in most of these situations. (I know my results are comparable or better because I'm told so by my subjects.) I think it separates me from the crowd. But when it came to finding folks to communicate with about the main pieces of equipment I use recreationally and professionally there was no place to do so. Thanks so much Photo John and Ken for making this little nest for me and the rest of the Pentax Family here at PR to roost! I feel like I'm home. :D :cool: :thumbsup:

No problem. I always wanted to have forums for each brand. But we had to take it slowly. The time seems right.

Now here's how you can thank me. Spread the word! Get out there and recruit some more Pentax users for the new forum. The worst thing that can happen is for this forum to be dead. The more the merrier!

CL...your welcome...I didn't realize PJ had made it official yet, so I wasn't sure if you meant me or not. I am very proud to be the moderator of this long overdue forum. I look forward to your shots with the K10D. It will be a while before I can afford one, so I will have to live vicariously through you and others who already own one! Except for a few things, my ist DL will fill most if not all of my needs, for now.
