Somewhere around the border of Tennessee and Kentuky south bound on I-75 the ice was everywhere. The top one was one caught through the windshield at 70mph while the wife was driving. The econd one was out the window I was sitting at behind the driver I was on kid control / photography duties)

Such beautiful countryside, I wish we'd taken a bit of a sower drive through there. There's a few I want to stop at on teh way home and take some tripod shots of if the formations are still there in 2 weeks.

Wow that must be cold there, and i look forward to some more of those beautiful scenery images after your hols!

Have you been to Telegraph Cove in Vancouver?, i saw a programme on the tele the other night a Bill Oddie wildlife programme, it was breathtaking, bears, sea otters, bald eagles, and Orca's to name a few, and the place itself, jaw dropping!

Its a real dream holiday "Must do" now for me.

It was cold Bev - -8 C though so not frigid. They recently had a much colder snap than that and these are teh remnants of that.

I have never been to Telegraph Cove but it is on my list of places to go in BC. I have been to BC only 3 times in my life (the last one was for my wedding and honeymoon....where people go when they live in Niagara Falls lol) We did a lot of things closer to Vancouver and didn't really get out of ther emuch. We are planning to return to BC in 5 more years for our 10th anniversary so we'll probably see more of the province then so we can show the kids (they'll be 9 and 6 by then so they'll appreciate it more)

***EDIT*** Added 4 more images from the set
