SmartWombat 01-27-2007, 11:02 AM I don't know how, but before I even opened the forum I knew it was yours. I didn't consciously read the poster name, scary ! Using flash make the eyes in that first image look so weird :o Copy_Kot 01-27-2007, 11:28 AM Those are great Bev! I saw a hawk make a snack out of one yesterday (of course I didn't have my camera with me). Bevb 01-27-2007, 12:30 PM Thanks PAul and Copy, that is scary PAul, but can only mean 1 of 2 things, firstly, as soon as you see an image and think, eeergh! thats got to be Bev's.Yuk! or Aah thats got to be one of Bev's.(Dont answer that). I agree with the flash, i used the 20D with built in flash and had the 70-200L which i think bounces off the end of the lense so i had to just accept what i got. Copy, i can imagine these little guys making a quick snack for the hawks, and its always the way, something happens and you dont have the Camera!! very frustrating. just_yo 01-27-2007, 01:03 PM great job capturing this little guy! paulnj 01-28-2007, 02:51 AM Bev, you are the only one who posts rats and mice  Copy_Kot 01-28-2007, 04:31 AM Bev, you are the only one who posts rats and mice  That doesn't mean the rest of us aren't trying  Bevb 01-28-2007, 09:07 AM Paulnj, im sorry, but they do make an alternative photographers quarry when there's not much else going on! and they are one of natures little wonders, even though they are'nt everyones cuppa tea! I think you'l have everyone out on a rat hunt now though. Lol! Copy it just goes to show how low il go to look for absolutely anything to photograph! but i have to say get them in the right situation and they make good subjects. Go to local ponds and lakes where people feed the ducks/birds and i bet you'l get your chance. |
