A few months ago I heard the voice of an angel on NPR. In fact, I came home raving to my wife about how spectacular she sounded when she just picked up her guitar and sang live in the studio.

Cut to last Thursday - I once again went to the Sundown in the City Concert Series downtown. I shot the whole event, including the concert. I was so into watching people and shooting pictures that I failed to even listen to the names of the people on stage. In fact, I came home raving about the opening act - had the voice of an angel. :rolleyes:

Cut to today - I was sitting on the couch flipping channels when I heard that same damn voice pouring from the video on CMT. It was Vangaurd Records recording artist Mindy Smith ( web site (http://www.mindysmith.net).

So, since I'm such a dork - here's a few of my shots of this up and coming artist.

Hey, I've heard of her. And she does sound kind of angel-y.
