Actually I had posted this a few weeks ago and there was some debate as to whether or not it was worth the $96. Here's (http://forums.photographyreview.com/showthread.php?t=2282) the thread. Personally I think it looks like fun and Kokopeli said he was buying one, but I don't think he posted anything after that.

Thanks Danielle -
I missed that one! I'm glad you pointed it out - for everyone's sake. It was good for me to read the different takes on it. I'll wait until I see some images. It just sounds like fun to me. I absolutely DISLIKE immensely working on the pc in photoshop - so I wouldn't even consider doing gimmicky stuff from PS. But playing around with a lens, for me that's more fun. However, I'll wait until I see what Brian posts if & when he does - or someone else.

I saw that post and something about those elsewhere too.
No Way!
Those "lensbabies" are not the same as Holga..
No Way!
A Holga is a Holga, except no imitations!
What will they think of next?

Holgas Rock!

I'm sure that's true. But a Holga that isn't getting used (mine) is no good. I might actually use the Lensbaby. And if it freshens up my photography and gets my mind off of technical perfection, all the better.

John,
You're like my Buddha, every time you say something it is like you've reached a new level of equipment enlightenment, and I feel myself falling one more step behind.
Can I rub your belly? ;)
Seriously, nothing could be more true, yet so often we need to be reminded of the fact that brand and equipment allegiances are very crippling to the photographic "flow."

Send me your Holga(s) John.
I would use them!

You should change your "title" to Pr.com Buhda" instead of "Captain of the Ship"
