Hello from LawnGuyLand!
Recently decided to take my photography a little more seriously - again. Nearing retirement in several years, and this is a good addition to the mix of activities. Was active as a kid, then dropped it when other things got in the way. Began my photog interest using my father's old Argus C-3. Still sitting here on a shelf.
SO here I am - ready to relearn. As of now, all I am using is a 2 MEg Digital point & shoot. But I've done some oretty good things with it, and hope to learn my way around to accomplish more.

THanks for the welcome. BUT - I am NOT a New Yawker. I've only been here 25 years. I am, like you, a Philadelphian! I miss my hoagies & Cheesesteaks, the Phillies, Society Hill & Rittenhouse Square.

This is one of the friendlier websites out there. Well, OK, the friendliest website out there for photographers. There is photo.net, but they tend to be a little elitist. This site is very friendly and has very colorful characters. You'll love it here even if all you do is lurk silently ;) Welcome aboard! Share your photos too :)
