I've been crazy busy for the last few weeks with finals and then family stuff back home and hadn't had a chance to get any new shots, or to even stop by here for more than a quick peek at the great new shots you all have gotten. I did get some shots in a recent trip to my great uncle's farm and thought I'd put up a few that I thought were ok and see what I can learn from you all. Hope you all had/have a wonderful holiday time. C&C welcome.

Phil

Phil - I see what you were trying to do here, but I think it falls short for a few reasons. The barn is just overwhelmed by the the bright window frame in the foreground. It's also so unsymmetric as far as the side area of the window frame to the bottom that it seems like a mistake, even if that is how you planned it. It seems tilted a little also. Perhaps if you tried this shot with less illumination inside the house it might work out better. I do like the barn in the background, I think it's a worthy subject. -GB
