I've been trying not to take images of them on feeders, but this female cardinal wouldn't perch on a branch and I liked her gold/red color (the image doesn't do it justice).

A lone house finch enjoying what little sun there was today.

Another red-bellied (I had a lot of problems re-sizing this image so I hope it turned out ok).

The business end of a red-bellied...

Thanks Bev.

Paul, that is an M. For some reason that single image became very distorted with the re-size... the beak too (it looked like a harpoon), which I tried to fix 'post re-size.' :mad2: :(

Thank you, you must have an awesome memory to have caught that... so far all I can remember is Carpodacus mexicanus for the house finches.

Thankfully the original image does not look like the above :)

Copy, I just had to smile when I saw your first Redbellied (image #3). The look on its face and the placement of the bud just below - reminded me of the look my dogs gave every time they went to the vet and had their temperatures taken :p

Great images.

LOL thanks Loupey, I didn't even notice the bud. I need to pay attention to little things like that
