I came across 2 skylarks yesterday flying around together making a hell of a din, then coming to rest in the field.

Loupey 11-30-2006, 02:42 PM Amazing images as usual, Bev  Lovely wing tip blur in the 2nd. Do I detect a hint of high speed fill flash? Or did you open up the underwing in PS? Either way, the lighting is great (on the subject at least). Now if you only didn't have all that British sky. Copy_Kot 11-30-2006, 03:48 PM My girlfriend wants to move to London......... hmmmmmm....... I need to find a way (I've never been but she has). You have some beautiful birds there Bev, I love the second image even with the gray sky :) karen m. 11-30-2006, 07:36 PM Bev, Beautiful as always. I have learned a lot here, before now I just thought a skylark was a Buick:D Bevb 12-01-2006, 01:00 AM Thanks everyone once again your all too kind with your comments. No fill flash used, just a slight touch of shadow/highlight tweak in CS, because as you state Loupey our skys can be a problem, and over the last week or so its been just that, a pain when you do 90% bird flight photography! Copy i think we all think "the Grass is always greener on the otherside " i often wish i could go to the places which people on the forum live, as their postings of the different birds and mammals they have are awesom, but i suppose this is what keeps our dreams alive! scott-devon 12-01-2006, 06:57 AM Lovely shots Bev. That second one is great, the wing detail is super. Alison 12-01-2006, 07:26 AM Superb photography Bev!
