Up in Philly there is a pretty neat and fairly new "Constitution Center"/Museum devoted to the US Constitution. About half of the place is off limits to photography but a hall with statues of the signers of the Constitution allows photography.

I had to shoot with available light and hand held but I thought it was great. I live in DC and only get up to Philly a couple of times a year but I will be able to reshoot sometime.

Suggestions?

Is the head shot Ben Franklin? Back when it was ok to be a politician, radical and intelligent. Something missing from politics today. Oh ya nice photos too! Seems a little to rich on the yellows.

I think the second shot where you had good lighting and used a small DOF is the best. It almost seems real. The artist(s) were good alright.

The yellows are a bit strong. I wonder if you can PS that out?

What a great looking museum.

I really like the details you captured in the statues and the lighting to me looks good assuming your in available light and no flash. Personally I like the yellow tint it makes the statues more life like to me.

Is that the head on the $100 bill?

Thanks for the comments folks. Yes, it is a very Yellow room with yellow walls, pine flooring and bronze statues so the color in the images is quite close to reality.

The statue I featured is indeed Ben Franklin-he was 81 (!) years old at the time.

I really like the 1st and 2nd shots the best. The first shot makes you feel as you were part of it and observing. It is a shame though the reflection on the floor pulls away from the detail of the flooring.
The 2nd shot I like the lighting on his face it brings out a lot of the detail. I would try it as a Sepia or Black and White and see what it looks like.
I have not been to Philly in a long time but definitely looks like this museum is worth checking out.
