View Full Version : Mural Depicting Downtown Don Schaeffer 11-26-2006, 09:58 AM http://www.shuttertalk.com/forums/images/upload/muralSM.jpg Frog 11-26-2006, 03:32 PM Great mural. If you cropped it any, I'd go back and get that top corner of the building back in. Its a bit dark too.....maybe can be lightened up in post edit or if its near your wait for better light. I think the angle works but needs more on the left. Thanks for showing it. jbaldocchi 11-26-2006, 04:00 PM Hi Don, Cool image. The lawn and the poles almost look like the're part of the mural. Jim B. J-Dogg Productions 11-26-2006, 04:28 PM i like the mural i agree with jbaldocchi if i didnt read his comment id think the grass adn poles are pert of the pic mtoo great shot Ronnoco 11-26-2006, 06:08 PM Darken the sky and lighten the mural in postprocessing or layer a software graduated blue filter over your photo controlling the transparency. Ronnoco Greg McCary 11-26-2006, 06:12 PM I agree with the others on the lighting, but another strong composition Don. Greg GB1 11-26-2006, 07:17 PM Very artsy shot. I agree with everything Frog wrote. Also agree that it has a little too much blue. But it was a good capture overall and it appears that your low angle worked well, with a few tech issues that might be correctable. This place calls for a reshoot........ GB Don Schaeffer 11-27-2006, 09:39 AM Thanks for your comments. I agree about exposure. MB1 11-27-2006, 11:25 AM Now this one I really like. I would like to see the same image with better light (is it on the north side of a building?). I really like your crop and the way the foreground blends in with the mural. Don Schaeffer 11-27-2006, 08:46 PM Carbon: Yes, north side of the building readingr 11-28-2006, 02:20 AM Don, I agree with Carbon on lighting. I would also like to see a bit more room around the building. Other than that I like it a lot. Roger Don Schaeffer 11-28-2006, 08:34 PM Thanks Roger |
