Copy_Kot 11-26-2006, 10:12 AM Wow Bev, those are amazing! I love the last image! paulnj 11-26-2006, 10:17 AM not to shabby but I don't think she would enjoy being called a him   Btw... this is a European Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus), not the American Kestrel(Falco sparverius ) for those who may want to know. karen m. 11-26-2006, 01:53 PM The first one really shows of the beautiful tail Loupey 11-26-2006, 05:53 PM Nice! I know what images you'll soon be posting here real quick :p Since the head is obscured in all, I like #2 due to the softer background, unusual angle, and ambiquity. I've only seen and photographed a wild kestral once. I'm envious of your situation. Seriously, the bags are packed...:p Bevb 11-26-2006, 11:23 PM Thanks Copy & Karen and Ooops! thanks for that Paul no wonder SHE always has her back to me, treating me with the contempt i deserve. Loups this Kestrel is in an ordinary park where i walk my dogs most days, i can honestly say she is there everyday without fail unless the weather is really bad, even if i can only see her hovvering in the distance. |
