I didn't have any intention of posting any photos today but I had a strange story I HAD to share with everybody.

I was out enjoying the nice weather while snapping some photos on some of the country roads around my town. I stopped to take this picture(with an obvious edit):

As I walked back to my truck to head home, I found this:

I wouldn't have believed it if it didn't happen to me! What are the odds of being out on a road that is rarely travelled, in the windy Tracy hills, and me finding a $100 bill stuck in a tumbleweed? I still can't believe it!

That first image is very nice! And congrats on finding the bill... I would make sure it's real before I tried to spend it :p :)

Oh I did. When I first picked it up I held it to the light and checked for the watermark and the magnetic strip. Thanks on the compliments on the first pic, it was one I had wanted to do for a long time.

Well then I would say that what you have here is a prize-winning image. More than what some contests offer and definitely more than what the Featured Photo brings here :p

I usually get insect bites, rashes, or water-logged feet for my images :)

What luck! right time, right place, but id be looking over my shoulder when i had found it to see if someone came running out saying i was on Candid Camera or you'v been framed!

Haha, well it's been spent already so I guess I don't have to worry about looking over my shoulder or wondering if it was real. And being the karmic person I am, I spent it on others and not myself.:D

So that is where I left my $100 :)
