Saw this little bird out on a walk today and managed to get this close to it to get these shots, but i dont know its ID and am struggling to find anything in my little ol book! nearest i have come is to a Stone Chat.

Any feed backon this would be great, please.:confused:

First one I think is Winchat, not Stonechat.

"The adults are lighter in colour, above and below, than stonechats; and they have pale stripes over the eyes and white on the sides of the tail."
Yours matches my book's picture of a Juvenile, with a brown line over the eye, not light as in the adult.

Ah Ha! now, looking into my book at the Winchat, i can see the likeness, thanks Smartwombat, im thrilled, as i have never seen one of these birds.
