Well not really. Probably easier to make fun guys more appealing than fungi. These are growing out of a crack in one of our trees. All with 300mm+extension tubes. Last one with a 430EX flash at 90-degrees from the camera fired with the infrared transmitter.

Very tough to make an exciting 'shroom shot :p

OK, so that's a white oak right :) That tree appears to have taken a lightning strike, so watch it carefully for die back . If it starts to die back...... KILL IT if it's anywhere that someone/something can get harmed. Trees don't always die from lightning, but alot do.

I don't know if those shrooms are sexy, but they are cute.

i like fungi shots, the second one i seem drawn to the most.
