I have just recently joined a fishing club, purely for the wildlife there and to do photography, they are more than pleased for me to do it as i said i will give them some photographs in return, it is a very clean well run club and has limited numbers, it was very quiet there today which was great!
Today i found the Kingfisher which was super! and saw 2 stoats, 1 sparrow hawk, and a green woodpecker, so iv had a fulfilled first visit, i think spring will be exciting there.
Iv attached the kingfisher pictures and a couple of shots of the lakes which is his habitat.

Bev, having joined their club, do you now have unlimited access to that lake? Or is it only during certain dates/events? Because I see some great looking shoreline there (for macros too :p ).
I'm sure we'll be seeing great stuff coming out of there soon enough!

Beautiful Kingfisher Bev. That is a nice stretch of water too, I wouldn't mind casting a few flies there myself.
Thanks Copy_kot, Karen, OT & Scott -Devon, he sure is a beautiful little bird, and Loupey to answer your question, yes i have unlimited access now to the lakes, and there is no closure periods, i can even stay over night if need be, and i noticed yesterday the amount of dragonflies that were still about,(and its cold here now)so i think its going to be abit of an adventure playground for me!
