SmartWombat 11-06-2006, 11:52 AM #4 is awesome, it really is in-flight !
paulnj 11-06-2006, 03:20 PM I agree that the in flight image is great!
I have red squirrels in my front yard and they like the walnut tree in my neighbor's yard(20 feet from my balcony). The SOB neighbor cut off the branch they sit on and ruined the tree and my shot! Grrrr, I would have pruned that tree for free for him(I do tree work)
scott-devon 11-06-2006, 04:13 PM Wonderful shots, those last two really are fantastic.

Sorry but I LMAO! :D LOL, I find myself getting upset by things (people included) that ruin what would be, or would have been a good wildlife or nature image :p
Thanks Paul, Paul, and Scott.
This guy was showing off with a one-handed landing :p

paulnj 11-06-2006, 04:49 PM It bothers me more that they moved in and bought a run down 7000 square foot home(3 story late 1800's home) and dumped atleast $200k into making it amazing looking(seamless copper gutters/slate roof looks great) and landscaping is starting to get there. BUT the guy had a LANDSCAPER cut his tree and apsolutely ruin it! The shot can still be had, but in a harder location .
photo101 11-06-2006, 07:21 PM You should take your portfolio over to your neighbors and show them what they are now missing out on. Maybe then they will look at thing sdifferntly other than landscape design. :)
Knight 11-07-2006, 02:39 AM Superb Action series :) The inflight (Jumping ) shots are awsome :)
Copy_Kot 11-07-2006, 02:55 AM Thanks Knight, the weather was great yesterday and they were all over the place.
Loupey 11-07-2006, 04:19 AM Very fun series, Copy! Must have been a blast to shoot. I really like #3 (spot light) one too.
Thanks for sharing.
Great shots Copy-Kot! these really are fun little guys to photographs, love em all!
I have neighbours that cut a bush right back and wrecked a Thrushes nest with 5 eggs in! (they are very limited around here) and they didnt seem at all bothered by it, and then on another occasion, they let their dog out whilst my hand tame robins chicks had come out the nest onto their lawn and i had to watch in horror whilst it got hold of one! i know its only natural for a dog, and i have 5 of them! but this time i really felt like letting it feel my boot!! Poor Chippy's squeaks of horror watching his youngster meet its death was unbearable! so this time my neighbours had a piece of my mind! Sometimes the human race bewilders me!
Copy_Kot 11-07-2006, 07:56 AM Thank you Loupey and Bev

Same here, but more often than not.
Copy_Kot 11-07-2006, 09:21 AM A squirrel portrait :D That's a maple seed in his mouth.
Back to birds now :)
karen m. 11-07-2006, 01:10 PM I really enjoyed those:D
Spotlights and flying squirrels! Great shooting. I am big fan of squirrelly photography. Just remember to feed all winter if you have been feeding in the nicer weather. Otherwise, they come up and tap on the deck window. Well, mine do that anyway if I miss breakfast for them or they can't rob one of the bird feeders.
Glad to see these, thanks.
paulnj 11-07-2006, 03:33 PM Yuppies don't appreciate anything..... unless the neighbor has one of less value
