My pictures started to turn out blurry starting today...i think its because i messed around with the settings because it happened right after i configured it a litte, i cant remember what i did lol...but yesturday i was taking perfect pictures.Im a newbie when it comes to camera so go easy on me lol

i know somewhere in the menu is a reset that will reset all the changes you have done to default settings.

the attachment doesn't look blurry ... it almost looks as the file is corrupt ... have you tried formatting the card in the camera ? and reset the options back to default ... then see what happens .. somewhere in the manual will tell ya how to reset the options .. i believe it is under user 1 - 2 or 3 ...

with all that done...the picture results are still the same, thanks for the advice though wyatt

thats called ....banding....there is a service advisory from nikon with this problem.
the CCD is going bad. my 5700 viewfinder and pictures went black on me today.
i think nikon will repair this for free, even out side of the warrenty.
