here is a picture at prom, well b4 it, anywayz i was originally color, but i converted it and i seemed to like it better, it was taken on a nikon cool pix like 4300 cheapy, i just want to hear waht you guys would say about every element the lighting and ect for this picture, but i think its perfect hense the name, later yall happy shooting
O i also failed to mension thats me and my girlfriend im a sophmore and she is a junior
and my grandma took these on automatic probebly
Damn, she's pretty.
The only thing I can add about the picture, is you don't look very natural or comfortable..trying to keep yourself close to her. It's pretty distracting to me, it's like a snapshot at a family reunion, they tell you to get together for a picture, and then you both walk away.

I like the B&W; really enhances the look of the photo. While I agree you maybe don't look that comfortable, you don't look like you're forcing a smile and that's really all that matters with these types of shots. Definitely one for the scrap-book, so don't lose it.
PS - for a sophomore, you're doing remarkably well in the date department. Congrats.

One minor thing that kind of bothers me is that your hair blends in with the trees so I'd try to do a little dodging there. I

I liked it the first time I saw it. Two good looking people, a spontaneous smile, in general some pleasant lighting, a picture to be proud of.
I does lack some depth of field (the background is slightly distracting).
Your pose (not your smile) is a bit unnatural and it gives the photo a bit of a snap shot look and I mean the fact that you hang over too much.
Wings whispers... "Between you and me bud; do everything to keep her!!" :D
Lovely shot, thanks for sharing and tell grandma that she did very well.
