A couple of skateboarders having fun in a local skate park.

Nice shots Chris though I would have like something in the picture to add some perspective to how high they really are.

Love that one with the kid with his arm in a cast. His mom must love his hobby. these guys put the meaning into "catching some air."

Where are the skateboards? These are pretty cool shots. I think Jim's suggestion about adding something as a referance to the image would really help to give us an idea of how high they really are.

Skareboarding or rollerblading? Either way, love the shots. I'm so glad my boys do sports that keep them on the ground. :)

Thanks funny JETA, that's what I said about my daughters when they decided to be basketball players rather than cheerleaders. Cheer leading was way to dangerous. Some of the aerial stuff they pull off just scares the squat right out of me.

They're rollerbladers, sorry about that. At my age I guess I use the term skateboarders in a generic sense. I also had some shots with the ramps in the bottom of the frame to show perspective but I just happened to like these better. Thanks for all the comments.

yeah, you need a point of reference in your shots. even if its just a bit of a pipe in the lower part of the frame, it helps to composition immensely. you could try and use a filter on these as well, to try and bring out the sky a bit more. fun expressions though, just watch the cropping of the hand on the second shot.

Hmmm, I have seen a lot of "flying" football & basketball players the past few years JETA :D
