Wow, I gotta say, that's a quality image. Sharpness, color, contrast...all top notch. What gear did you capture it with?

The only critical comment I have is that its too bad the defender's feet got cropped off.

I used a Canon 30D with a Canon 70-200 2.8L lens. My editor doesn't mind feet getting cropped off.

It's probably the only daytime football action I'll get all season so I tried to take advantage of it.

Great Shot, the color is amazing. How much Post Processing did you have to do, and what program do you use?

In Photoshop Elelemts I took a bit of glare off of the ball carriers helmet. I also resized to 72 dpi and 640 pixels wide, then did an Unsharp Mask at - Amount: 125%, Radius: 0.4 pixels, Threshold: 1 Level. Thanks.

Nice crisp shot with great color. My son is currently in his second week of Hell-Week for his high school and I've been out there as often as I can taking some shots. I've been talking to the coaches so I can get on the field during game time, which is at 3pm. Looking forward to getting some action shots of my son playing.

Thanks for the comment. 3:00 should be a good time to shoot as the sun will be starting to come down a bit. Best of luck and have fun.
