I feel ambivalent about your exposure. I really like the tones on your niece but the sky is seriously overexposed. Also, I am not comfortable with the blur in the very foreground. I guess that you have captured a good moment in a so-so ligthing. My suggestion (for what it worths...) would be to try a sqare crop, loosing the very foreground and some of the sky. I think that the result could be interesting.

I would crop the out-of-focus foreground and put a thin dark frame around it. Nice shot. Itlooks like a black and white photo from the 1940s.

I would agree with both points, but I seem to like the blown out sky for some reason. Thanks for your thoughts.
