Try reshooting (if you can) during twilight hours to avoid having a blown-out sky (did manually fix it with photoshop? looks like) However, because the subject is reflective, it also becomes blown-out around the edges so it would be better to shoot during lower light conditions.

Thanks for the comments. I did manually adjust with PS; the sky was a deep marine overcast thus heavy glare. You are correct, different time of day would make all the difference.

Maybe you should have zoomed out just a smidge. Enough to get a little space around the cats elbow and maybe take in more of Dr. Suess's leg. Maybe the crop is close because of a conversion factor. Beside what's already been said, I dig it. Statues are one of my most favorite things to photograph. Partly because they don't move.

Thanks for the comments. I was worried about the crop. I couldn't go too much farther out without incurring the edge of a light pole in the distance. So, I went in hoping that would work. I need to just re-shoot this at another time of day and see how it turns out.
