They're nowhere near on par with a macro lens but they do work. I used to play around with them all the time when I was working at a camera shop and we always had a few in stock. If you are looking for a way to get some cool close-ups i'd spring for the three lens set. Combine them all together, get a little tripod and have fun shooting.

i have a set of these and use them faily often on my old nikon n2000. they pretty well. however they cut the dof down dramatically, and when you use all 3 together the photo is kinda distorted. but they are cheap and if you only use 1 or 2 together they produce pretty good results. with all 3 of mine i need to be about an inch or less away to focus on the subject. ( with a vivitar 80-200 with macro at 80 of 1:3.2)

Ok, I didn't buy them because they didn't have them in stock. So ritz has the buy 2 get one free deal and I bought a circular polarizer, a diffuser and the UV protective filter. Thanks for the help.
