Desert Spiny Lizard Sceloporus magister subspecies S. m. magister

This one is actually our local subspecies, that being the Desert subspecies. I know, sounds goofy, but it's latin name is actually Sceloporus magister magister

I had the wrong lens for his proximity, however, it was in a location that made it impossible to get the 'ideal angle'.

LOL! I didn't say no crop, just minimize the crop :p

Great detail on that lizard. I like how the scales look lit-up. Was that from fill-flash or light being reflected from the foreground?

They are a 'shiney' lizard, too. In the untouched RAW, there is a streak of reflected light. I corrected everything to it's level.
