Although being away judging at a show all weekend, i sneaked off with the camera in the evening and practised my flight photography on these birds.

I am still trying to get to grips with the new camera so thought i would post these for comments and advice.

That first image of the black-headed gull is sweet! The exposure on these looks great

I would say you have good grip on the camera already. Great flight shots both in tracking and being in the right place at the right time to acheive good light.

Thanks drg i am beginning to feel more at ease with the camera although i still feel it is going to take a long time yet to feel totally at home with it.

I got my 20D out and it was like putting on your favourite shoes!!
