Later on he changed his screen name to "Still Mr. Fitz" for some reason. The link below is to one of his last posts about the birth of his grandson. I posted this in VF vs Off Topic because I figured more people who know him would more likely read VF since he mostly posted in this forum.

I've been thinking about him on and off for a long time. I lost his email address when I changed to DSL - actually Verizon deleted all my old email addresses. I would love to have his email again if anyone has it.

I know he had some type of illness, but I think it was in remission and he was doing well - he even bought himself a D70. I hope and pray he is okay.

He helped me a great deal in my photography. I have fond memories of him as he has a generous heart. One time I told him that a specific image of his was a work of art. A week later I got it in the mail! I miss him, and I wish I had asked before now. I hope I can contact him.

Has anyone been in contact with him at all or know if he is okay?

Mr Fitz--- He was awesome-- his comments/critiques generally drove me bonkers---but in the end he was an integral part here, in improving my phtography drastically. let us know what you find...
