The composition is simple and effective. I enjoy it! yoyo Overbeyond 06-28-2006, 08:23 AM It's got beauty. Very well handled. The fin on its own without the light is even great. Tom Coastal Flyer 06-28-2006, 12:02 PM Very nice color but the missing lower half of the photo detracts. The photo either needs to eliminate the lower tail light altogether or include it all. Love the color and chrome though. CF ChowChi-Ching 06-28-2006, 12:52 PM I have to agree, but I think it looks too much like the NIKE symbol without the light though. Color is superbly striking though. Great Job! drg 06-28-2006, 06:28 PM Yoyo, Overb, C.F,,Chow CC, thank you all for taking the time to comment! I never thought about the Nike symbol. Glad the color worked with the chrome accents. Cutting the light with the frame was a conscious decision when I made the image. I'm fairly comfortable with it this way. I do agree based on some other variants of the photo that it works well without the light. However, I then lose the chrome accents and significantly change the composition. May be less of the light would still provide an anchoring effect and retain the contrast with the red and chrome. Hmmmm Using the full light also changes it and I fell that it is less abstract that way. Decisions, decisions . . . Glad to know how each of you feels and thanks again for your comments. |
